2021-04-19cloudstorage: remove ancient SSL hackGravatar Dirk Hohndel
This was a hack for a very early SSL certificate that was rejected on some platforms. We haven't used that one in ages, so let's just remove the whole hack - but always show in the console output when there was an SSL error. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2019-12-05core: correct cloudstorage.cpp to use static qPrefCloudStorage functions.Gravatar jan Iversen
qPrefCloudStorage set/get functions are static. remove creation of qPrefCloudStorage instance, reference static functions. Signed-off-by: Jan Iversen <jan@casacondor.com>
2019-08-08Cleanup: move error reporting function declarations to errorhelper.hGravatar Berthold Stoeger
Move the declarations of the "report_error()" and "set_error_cb()" functions and the "verbose" variable to errorhelper.h. Thus, error-reporting translation units don't have to import the big dive.h header file. Signed-off-by: Berthold Stoeger <bstoeger@mail.tuwien.ac.at>
2019-07-18Cleanup: remove includes from qthelper.hGravatar Berthold Stoeger
To reduce interdependencies, remove the dive.h and divelist.h includes in qthelper.h Signed-off-by: Berthold Stoeger <bstoeger@mail.tuwien.ac.at>
2019-04-12get rid of some foreach and Q_FOREACH constructsGravatar Rolf Eike Beer
See https://www.kdab.com/goodbye-q_foreach/ This is reduced to the places where the container is const or can be made const without the need to always introduce an extra variable. Sadly qAsConst (Qt 5.7) and std::as_const (C++17) are not available in all supported setups. Also do some minor cleanups along the way. Signed-off-by: Rolf Eike Beer <eike@sf-mail.de>
2018-09-11core/settings ... : remove qPref* includes in qPref.hGravatar jan Iversen
reduce number of includes by removing qPref* includes in qPref.h Signed-off-by: Jan Iversen <jani@apache.org>
2018-09-11core: declare cloud_status in qPrefCloudStorageGravatar jan Iversen
qml declaration of cloud_status (defined in pref.h) does not belong in qPref.h but in qPrefCloudStorage Signed-off-by: Jan Iversen <jani@apache.org>
2018-09-10prefs: use correct way to set the cloud storage password preferenceGravatar Dirk Hohndel
Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2018-09-10prefs: cloud_new_password is not a preferenceGravatar Dirk Hohndel
It's a mamber of the cloud storage authentication class, used to hold the proposed new password until the backend has accepted it. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2018-07-21core: activate qPrefCloudStorageGravatar jan Iversen
remove CloudStorage from SettingsObjectWrapper and reference qPrefCloudStorage update files using SettingsObjectWrapper/CloudStorage to use qPrefCloudStorage this activated qPrefCloudStorage and removed the similar class from SettingsObjectWrapper. Signed-off-by: Jan Iversen <jani@apache.org>
2018-07-10core: make qPref::cloud_status the only version of the enumGravatar jan Iversen
add enum to qPref and remove elsewhere update source core to reference qPref. the enum cannot be in pref.h because it is to be used in qml and Q_ENUM need the enum to be defined as part of the class Signed-off-by: Jan Iversen <jani@apache.org>
2018-07-04core: remove double definition of enum cloud_storage_statusGravatar jan Iversen
Remove cloud_storage_status from qmlprefs.h. usage to qPref:: enum cloud_storage_status is not used from C, but only from C++, and having the same structure defined multiple times is a maintenance challenge. Signed-off-by: Jan Iversen <jani@apache.org>
2018-06-04Cleanup: fold core/helpers.h into core/qthelper.hGravatar Berthold Stoeger
helpers.h included qthelper.h and all functions declared in helpers.h were defined in qthelper.h. Therefore fold the former into the latter, since the split seems completely arbitrary. While doing so, change the return-type of get_dc_nichname from "const QString" to "QString". Signed-off-by: Berthold Stoeger <bstoeger@mail.tuwien.ac.at>
2018-05-14Core: remove dive.h from files that don't need itGravatar Dirk Hohndel
Of course, quite a few of them indirectly get it through other header files. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2018-02-12Cleanup: remove outdated TODO itemGravatar Berthold Stoeger
report_error() automatically pushes error messages. No need for a separate signal. Signed-off-by: Berthold Stoeger <bstoeger@mail.tuwien.ac.at>
2017-11-18Constify strings in pref.hGravatar Berthold Stoeger
Make all char * pointers in pref.h const to make it clear that these strings are not mutable. This meant adding a number of (void *) casts in calls to free(). Apart from being the right thing to do, this commit makes the code more consistent, as many of the strings in pref.h were already const. While touching core/qthelper.cpp turn three instances of (void*) into (void *). Signed-off-by: Berthold Stoeger <bstoeger@mail.tuwien.ac.at>
2017-10-26cloudstorage: handle invalid PIN correctlyGravatar Dirk Hohndel
If the server tells us that the PIN is invalid, we need to continue to ask for a PIN. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2017-10-26Desktop UI: notify user if they need to enter a cloud PINGravatar Dirk Hohndel

2016-07-23Use preferences object to correctly store cloud statusGravatar Dirk Hohndel
There are a lot more places all over Subsurface where this needs to be cleaned up. The converstion of the preferences system has been a complete mess. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2016-04-04Move subsurface-core to core and qt-mobile to mobile-widgetsGravatar Dirk Hohndel
Having subsurface-core as a directory name really messes with autocomplete and is obviously redundant. Simmilarly, qt-mobile caused an autocomplete conflict and also was inconsistent with the desktop-widget name for the directory containing the "other" UI. And while cleaning up the resulting change in the path name for include files, I decided to clean up those even more to make them consistent overall. This could have been handled in more commits, but since this requires a make clean before the build, it seemed more sensible to do it all in one. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
