2016-04-04Move subsurface-core to core and qt-mobile to mobile-widgetsGravatar Dirk Hohndel
Having subsurface-core as a directory name really messes with autocomplete and is obviously redundant. Simmilarly, qt-mobile caused an autocomplete conflict and also was inconsistent with the desktop-widget name for the directory containing the "other" UI. And while cleaning up the resulting change in the path name for include files, I decided to clean up those even more to make them consistent overall. This could have been handled in more commits, but since this requires a make clean before the build, it seemed more sensible to do it all in one. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2016-03-29If the cache was valid, we don't want to reload just because of changesGravatar Dirk Hohndel
This was exactly backwards. If there already are changes we do NOT want to reload - that would overwrite those changes for no good reason; after all, the starting point was correct, so why throw the changes away? Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2016-03-23Compare with the right git sha when deciding nothing has changedGravatar Dirk Hohndel
The saved_git_id could be updated in is_git_repository() under certain circumstances, so we need to make sure we compare to the sha that was current as we entered this function. Since the pointer is just to a static buffer we need to actually copy it (and then free it later). Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>

2016-03-06Clean up handling of various include fileGravatar Tomaz Canabrava
This is in the context of the iOS port and shouldn't impact any of the other builds. [Dirk Hohndel: refactored the iOS patches] Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2016-02-10Don't just keep going when opening a git URL failsGravatar Dirk Hohndel
Once we identified that our filename is actually a git designator (as seen by the fact that it ends in a [branchname] surrounded by '[]'), we shouldn't try to open that filename in order to try other ways of parsing the data; instead we should just return an error to the caller. This way the calling code can tell that an error occured. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2016-01-04Cloud storage: fix potential crash when avoiding reloading dive listGravatar Dirk Hohndel
If we loaded the dive list from cache and then try to figure out if the remote repository had anything different, we were being super stupid if the SHA was identical... we had already cleared the dive list by the time we decided that we didn't need to load things. Granted, the model was still populated (oops), but the backend data structure was cleared and accesses to it (e.g., when drawing the profile) would cause things to crash. The helper function duplicates some code, but trying to not duplicate the code made things even harder to read. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2015-12-28Git storage: be more careful when checking if this SHA is already loadedGravatar Dirk Hohndel
In commit 8c1cc4524d19 ("Don't reload identical data") I got a little carried away. Before comparing SHAs we need to make sure that a) this is a git repository at all b) we have an actual SHA before we claim to have the data loaded Reported-by: Paul-Erik Törrönen <poltsi@777-team.org> Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>
2015-12-27Don't reload identical dataGravatar Dirk Hohndel
If we already have the same SHA loaded and no changes have been made to the dive list then there is no point in loading the dives again. Signed-off-by: Dirk Hohndel <dirk@hohndel.org>

2015-10-30Move all core-functionality to subsurface-coreGravatar Tomaz Canabrava
And adapt a new CMakeLists.txt file for it. On the way I've also found out that we where double-compilling a few files. I've also set the subsurface-core as a include_path but that was just to reduce the noise on this commit, since I plan to remove it from the include path to make it obligatory to specify something like include "subsurface-core/dive.h" for the header files. Since the app is growing quite a bit we ended up having a few different files with almost same name that did similar things, I want to kill that (for instance Dive.h, dive.h, PrintDive.h and such).
